She has been creating hats independently since 2009 and adopted the name Frontier Millinery in 2015. Her work has been seen from street to stage, in artisan events such as the One of a Kind Show Chicago (2013), and in theatrical productions from the LA Opera to a Broadway National Tour. She was the first place winner of the inaugural US Milliners Guild International Millinery Competition in 2022 and is now a member of the Guild.
